Read the Divine Comedy at like 12, and loved it. What I liked the most were the illustrations, they made a profound impact in me; and are probably the first artistic work I came to by myself that truly shaped me as a person.

Cool that you are getting back to it! practice quick gesture drawing, a lot. Don’t concern yourself with proportions and details, just the flow of the pose and the placement of the head, spine, torax, hips and extremities.

I have been this person XD. the trick is appearing as if you are drawing something past them or arround them. You musn’t stare, catch a few glimpses here and there and let your brain fill in the rest.
