I got into Bloodlines after Redemption. It’s a setting I really liked, though I was never able to get into the TTRPG aspect of it.

Redemption has the better story and better RPG, but Bloodlines has better gameplay and better voice acting.

Keep in mind that you can stay on Win10 unprotected, or even get a 1-year extension of security updates for free if you link your account. So it’s possible that we won’t see a big jump until next year.

I’d add Redemption as well. It’s super rough now, but I played it 20 years ago, and I was amazed by all the lore. I didn’t know until after I finished it, that the game was based on a TTRPG.

My parents pushed me to learn when I was a kid. The way it worked best for me was just dive headfirst into it.

Watching movies and shows in English with English subtitles, reading books in English, playing video games in English (not necessarily learning ones), etc.

I had a couple of small dictionaries, and English booklets with grammar help, translation dictionaries, etc. I wrote down notes on them all the time.

There was a period of my life when I was stoned out of my mind, and I thought “maybe we’re actually tiny things, thousands of levels below quarks, and the solar system is a molecule in a cell, and as we go beyond, maybe we’re inside some enormous being… And then I was like but make it fractal, and nearly went nuts trying to imagine it” 😂

Don’t worry, some of our governments are working really hard to be like the USA.

That’s true. Tho, I’ve seen people who managed to get ChatGPT to output in “uwu/cringe”, so I’m still not going to let my guard down if I see something that doesn’t have good spelling and grammar.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, because a lot of us are ESL speakers from different parts of the world, so we might say things in a way that sounds strange or “unnatural” to native English-speakers.

As others said, AI is not proper for this. Having interiors is strictly a human thing, and companies not wanting to invest in it. There should be lore, coherence with the exterior, items, assets. Many things AI is just not good at.

In the days of Fallout 3, there was a great mod that added interiors to many buildings in the game. It was a lot of effort, and very limited. And back then modding was a hobby, so not a lot of people made donations to keep it going.

At the very least, there should be a way to contribute to building interiors in games with official modding support.

But legal experts say criminal charges are unlikely.

That’s the least of the problems. There are plenty of examples of these fucks who died and then are used forever and ever to push the same, or even worse, agendas “in their name”. Imagine Trumpism in 70 years.

If only he really did try to do it personally. Physics can be one heck of a teaching experience.

I’m one of the dozen who enjoyed all three movies. The Animatrix is also pretty good and adds some lore.

But with stuff like this, I always say: don’t rely on others’ opinions. Liking or disliking a movie/show/book/game/etc. is entirely subjective.

All my life, and I don’t plan on having any relationships ever. Not interested.

The why is a bit complex. I’m physically disabled, and by now I’m starting to have trouble with basic stuff like showering and even going to the bathroom. One day, I’ll require assistance for those things, and not at old age. I don’t want to subject that on anyone (and I honestly doubt anyone would want to do it from day one either).

And this for a $60 perpetual license program that i should buy anyway because it’s for work

If you work for someone, they should be providing the license for you.

If you’re a freelancer, it should be part of the costs that you get back as you work. $60 for a perpetual license is honestly not that steep and shouldn’t impact your prices much.

This is one of the main reasons I don’t pirate anything but audio and video anymore (and even then I’m cautious). It’s really not worth it.
