Respectfully, as a historian I’m going to have to counter that point. Yes, we did take many Nazi scientists and import them to the United States. Many of them became naturalized citizens and were re-educated in American values. This was done because the USSR was actively doing the same thing and we did not want to be losing valuable research and researchers at the start of an information war.
