  • Initially I was into it. I had a long ongoing conversation with cgpt helping me flesh out some ideas for a tabletop RPG. I was more or less trying to get randomized names and backstories. Although it did not loop, it eventually became repetitive. Also, every backstory came with a side dose of sunshine and glitter that wasn’t always helpful.

I found it most interesting that it seemed to know the rules of Pokemon Tabletop, but when pressed with specifics it always invented information. It was almost always worthless at generating a character because it made up skills and abilities that didn’t exist. The moment you attempted to apply logic and fit the pieces together, it all fell apart.

When it came to image generation, I created a few scenes and attempted to mash them together in gimp. By the time I was done, it was just as efficient as grabbing an image from the web and using that as my template.

  • I mean, resistance only means half damage, so if the fighter is attacking with 1d8 6 times a round, and actually hitting with three of them, that’s about 12 damage a round. I would hope that sometime takes a bonus to enchant one of his weapons, which would add an additional 6 or so a round. Assuming the battle lasts 6 rounds, that would be 70-100 damage.

  • I have a shiny spot on the back of my left wrist from roller blading and landing wrong on the pavement. 30 years later you can’t hardly tell.

About the same time in life I got really good roller blades and tried going down this really big grassy hill. My old blades were barely functional, so I hit the bottom at probably 10-12 miles per hour and tripped into the street. I lost half of three teeth. The bonded parts are clearly visible.

Also, when I was four one of the teenagers in my apartment complex thought it was fun for me to run up his body holding his hands and have me do a flip. He went to put me on his shoulders and I… did a flip. You can still feel a bit of a cavity on the back of my head where my skull fractured.
