Humans do not currently have the technology to create long term, self-sustaining closed ecosystems.

No one on earth has successfully created one, and biodome was cut short due to private equity buying it out and basically forcing the project to shut down.

The billionaire bunkers may be designed for long term survival, but they will have a finite amount of food at least. Water can be replaced via wells, electricity can be generated with SMNRs(if the billionaires even own those), and food may be able to be supplemented for a while with grow lights, but eventually the soil will deplete due to not having a sustainable ecosystem.

I’m curious because I’ve been on Linux full-time for 2 years now and an avid user for years before, but my friend is thinking of switching and I want to know what he might need help with.

It’s very strange.

Most games will just launch, no problems. But then you’ll get one title like the above poster has, that just refuses to launch no matter what you do.

Most of the times there’s a work around on ProtonDB that will get you running in a few minutes. But sometimes it feels like, or is the case, where the developers actively prevent the game from launching on Linux.

The thing with IQ or any cognitive test, is they’re only administered when there’s a call for one.

If trump was behaving like a normal man his age, then there wouldn’t likely be a cognitive test. Just like how most people who get an IQ test are only tested if they’re either exceptionally advanced or exceptionally behind in their learning.

We should have broken up the banks in 2008, fired the whole C suite of chase and all the other banks, and set up smaller banks that now know if they fuck up they’ll get dissolved. Instead we gave them a slap on the wrist and trillions of dollars to fix their own fuckup. This only taught them that they can continue to make massively risky investments with no downsides.

Leviticus is Old Testament. If you actually read the Bible and follow its teachings, a Christian is not supposed to be following the Old Testament. That’s why it’s the “old” testament and now there’s a New Testament that is supposed to be followed instead of “Old Testament 2: zombie boogaloo”. The Old Testament is there for context. The whole idea of the New Testament is god came down to look upon his world as one of his creations, went “this shit’s kinda fucked” and started handing out new rules to make the place a little less fucked. It’s a real shame that most Christians haven’t read the Bible and depend on old guys in strange buildings to tell them what a book says, world would probably be a lot cooler if these people could be bothered to fucking read.

“Love one another” is not a complicated line full of subtext and what-ifs. You don’t need an old dude at the front of a crowd to tell you what it means, unfortunately there’s very few actually good Christians out there so now we’re here.
