    You are so nice, it’s not a problem at all.

    I am just frustrated honestly, that because of the monopoly this shop has over shipping here (and therefore the reason I got that gift card to this shop for my bday) they can charge basically anything for these books. I payed like ~150$ for them, which is astronomical for the wages people earn here (I live in the poorest county).

    I had to choose between Parenti books and Xi’s works and because the Parenti books were available to me atm in ebook formats, I went with the other. This year however I have a feeling I might go for the Parenti books, but maybe from elsewhere.

    I hope you like your new treasure and will end up reading all his works.

    Nobody is making an event this year in Hungary. The Party this year decided to not organize any kind of march, as there would be so few of us, it would just be ridiculed nation-wide. Instead, to fit the theme of the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s liberation in Hungary, they are doing an event around that for themselves. They had the public event earlier, this is more in-house, apparently to encourage organization and deepen ties between members. They are planning to be around the party house, trying to come up with activities that serve this goal. I myself have been invited as well, but I’ve just been to the capital, barely a month ago as a guest to the congress and so I can’t afford to be there for every event, I can barely afford a trip let’s say twice a year, and I am saving the other one for Kádár’s birthday during the summer.

    In short, people forgot the 1st of May, or the ones who didn’t, think back on it as like a funny/lame custom from the past, that was forced on them. I get people who only remember the songs, the flags, the marches, but it’s really fucking depressing nobody fucking know what this shit is about. You would think an ex-socialist country made sure to cement concepts in people, but I swear on my momma, people don’t even know what a worker is nowadays. The succdems and libs naturally aren’t doing shit, not even the unions do. So unless the Nazis and Fidesz is going to surprise us with something, this year is going to be eventless.

    I remember reading this Wiki page when I finished watching a playthrough of “The Town of Light” videogame.

    I was so angry and sad, that it was soothing to read about someone having common sense and banning this abomination of a practice.

    I recommend everyone to watch a playthrough or play the game if possible, as it gives context to not only this post, but to the reality of this age’s medical practices.

    9/10 times I am dreaming about either:

    1. Childhood and teenage loves (wishful thinking, made up scenarios).
    2. Arguing with my abusive parents.
    3. Fighting for myself with classmates or just school people/trying to protect myself.
    4. Lecturing people or speaking up for myself.
    5. Being humiliated in some way.
    6. Trying to figure out ways and using dreams to solve my IRL problems.
    7. Being assaulted by my old teachers.
    8. Living through my fears in terms of for example failing maths in highschool, while I finished with a grade 3 (out of 5).
    9. Different types of heroic (ik it sounds lame) ways of dying, implying that I am now gone in a worthy way.

    Or a combination of some of these.

    I had several nightmare periods (which seems to be gone by now apparently, with the “healing” of time) years back, they were horrible, you can imagine it in a similar fashion to what you may see in the O.A. series, if any of you are familiar with that. My phycologist couldn’t do shit about my case back then.

    I also have a physical sensation, which is rarer by now and it’s not necessarily tied to an equivalent visual in the dreams. It’s that I’m falling. Like when we still had snow and climate change wasn’t making winter the way they are currently, we were sledging down big hills and there was a bump in the way, which we purposefully used to jump over with the sledge thanks to the high speed we were reaching. And that short flying feeling, that time in the air, the falling, I relieve that so many times, however in the dreams instead of quickly landing, I always see a big dip in the hill, like the RedBull ski event type bs and I just fall into a idek 40-50 meter flight. Whatever, this always ends up in me getting up in the bed, sweaty, gasping for air, feeling like something heave came off of my chest. This happens in other scenarios too, like jumping off of a bridge, being pushed over windows, etc. FYI I love heights IRL, so this is about some trauma, or medical condition, fuck knows.

    Well, I got 1-3 and the Belt and Road one for my birthday last year. At that time, they (the shop I got it from) could not get a copy of the 4th book, which was a bummer, nonetheless I see that now I can find it being listed on sites like Amazon as well.

    Personally I would not be brave enough to bother them with this, but it would definitely be an option if I couldn’t otherwise get to it.

    Honestly I felt a bit sad when I looked up how much cheaper they are on the secondhand market, because technically I “wasted” so much money on it, but at the end of the day, I have my own copies, brand new, which I am trying to appreciate to the best of my abilities. I am hunting for the 4th one, I’ll see when I can get my hands on it. Good job though, have fun reading!

    Btw, anyone familiar with millenial.chaos from TikTok? Or maybe anyone in his Discord? If not, maybe we could let them know we exist, because they seem to be a cool bunch.

    Other than that, last saturday I attended the 31st congress of our party, which was overall a positive experience, even if just slightly tipping the scale. I’d appreciate other autistic people helping me with tips how they do fieldwork, being on the streets, talking to people, being observed and judged and so on. As well as, I’m wondering if there is anyone here, who can not do any type of party work like this, because if they’d do, they’d lose their jobs or be hated out of their local community. Cause these are the things I’m facing, but obviously I’m expected to perform and work for the party.
